Hi, I’m Shaquia, Owner and Founder of Quia’s Furry Friends. My love for animals began with my very first dog, Blicks — a strong and regal German Shepherd who was my protector, friend, and play pal. When he passed away, my life changed forever, but my love for animals only grew deeper.

Over the years, that love expanded beyond dogs to include cats, rabbits, horses, and so many others. As I grew older, friends and family naturally began asking me to care for their pets during vacations, major life events, or simply when they needed an extra hand.

For me, it was never about the money — it was about the joy, trust, and unconditional love I experienced with every animal I cared for. After several years of prayer and meaningful conversations, Quia’s Furry Friends was officially born in 2021.

My pet care journey began when I was just 10 years old, trying to turn my passion for pets into a petsitting business. I even made my own flyers! In 2021, that dream finally came to life when I became the very first associate at Quia’s Furry Friends.

Since then, I’ve earned over 50 positive client reviews for the loving, attentive care I provide. I care for dogs and cats, and I’m experienced in working with elderly animals and administering medications to ensure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

I specialize in boarding and house sitting, offering quality care in my home or yours. For Boarding clients, I pride myself on providing a cozy, clean, safe environment where your pet can feel right at home. For housesitting clients, I provide pets with consistency of routine in a familiar environment while also caring for your home.

Since then, I’ve welcomed over a hundred pets into my care, building a loyal family of repeat clients and earning great reviews along the way. I specialize in boarding, training, socializing pets, and caring for rescues overcoming a history of abuse and neglect — all breeds, sizes, energy levels, and ages are welcome.
